The New Version
This is the version which sits on the wall I call it "Stormy". The colours are different than I have used in a painting and I think they express the grunge feel I'm looking for.
Bye for now. Nad

A new grunge piece (WIP)
Working on a series of grunge pieces they come from somewhere deep inside the place I created from was very slow and dense.

This is a piece just finished. This was painted using a subtractive technique. After the paint is applied with either knife or brush, one colour at a time then it is sprayed with a mixture of green cleaner and water and that layer is scraped back showing the previous layer then allowed to dry before the next layer is applied. This technique can be done quickly or slowly.

New abstract painting The Qnadii Studio-artist Nad Ellis. This is a painting more along the line of comtemporary modern rather than the featured grunge style. Because I am an intuitive painter I usually take it where it takes me. This is 18x24" acrylic on paper, mounted to a gallery profile cedar board. Luv those boards.
